From 1994 till 1998 I've joined in a market research
for the ERGO
Data GmbH/Essen to improve and change the computer
magazine CHIP.
In this time I had to read every monthly issue (totally over 40 issues),
utilize the content and most of the advertisements to regard to legibility,
content, finery, comprehensibility, expressiveness, responsiveness and
a lot of other attributes.
The opinion poll was elaborated in going through an electronic utilization
on CDROM and the encoded outcome had to be sent to Ergo Data per e-mail. |

I took part at the official betatesting of Windows
95 for 6 months between the end of 1994 and mid
of 1995.
For betatesting purposes Microsoft sent to nearly 20.000 testers CD-packages
with the latest beta releases.
The pretended task was to use and test all options, programs and possibilities
of the beta and locate bugs, contradictions, inaccurate translations
or simply absurdly utilization.
The faults had to be sent to Microsoft as e-mail per error report or
proposal form. At the end of this test most of the users received a final
copy
of Windows95.
